City Center Gallery Hop

Like many things in Athens, the local art world also moves in the tension between the old and the new. Conservative and established generation on the one hand and the younger generation that seeks to create an independent future for itself on the second. In the various neighborhoods of the city center there are several art centers, each with a different character and all influenced by these tensions.

Contemporary art and design at their best is shown in the place where the classical and the modern converge. join us on a tour offering a unique artistic experience within the city. Our tour goes to different neighborhood each time, in relation to the exhibits on display. In the prestigious Kolonki, between the houses of the great designers and the luxury hotels, there are some of the oldest and richest galleries in the city; In Kokaki neighborhood we will visit a museum of modern art alongside collective galleries; In the Exarchia area we will visit the art school and the kicking galleries of the neighborhood.

We will visit 3 or 4 galleries and design venues and meet artists, curators, gallerists and more
